Rafat is RAJ Law’s founding attorney, representing injury victims in state and federal court. Rafat specializes in personal injury, vehicle collision, premises liability, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith cases.
Rafat’s passion for victims’ rights comes from personal experience. In 2003, Rafat was involved in a T-bone collision after a flatbed truck ran a stop sign. The accident left him with a fractured hip and femur and required an extensive course of recovery. In addition to dealing with his physical recovery, Rafat had to endure years of fighting with insurance companies and defense attorneys before a settlement was reached.
After a successful career in real estate development, Rafat graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2019 and earned the distinction of Trial Advocacy Fellow. He founded RAJ Law in 2021 to provide the representation he knows injured parties need.
Before law school, Rafat earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University. In his free time, Rafat enjoys spending time with his family and friends. An avid golfer, he participates in a half a dozen tournaments a year, several of which benefit local causes here in Arizona.
